Matt

Matt Haigh

Founder / Director

Bio

Matt has been a part of the Construction and Real Estate world for most of his adult life. He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lawrence Technological University and has owned a building company constructing new homes in Macomb, Oakland and St. Clair Counties. In addition to being a licensed builder, he is a registered State of Michigan municipal inspector and certified well and septic evaluator through MCHD and MSU. Combining new construction, remodeling, renovating turn-of-the-century homes, and almost a decade-long role as a code official for the Township of Shelby, he brings a well-rounded approach to the Home Inspection Industry.

The zenith of Matt’s experience has evolved into his work in the home inspection industry over the last decade along with his team of Certified Master Inspectors. Sharing his knowledge of the industry through teaching is one of his passions.

Lead Inspector

Bio

Zach is not only Weatherstone’s Lead Inspector, but he is also one of our Certified Master Inspectors whose attention to detail and over a decade of experience make him an invaluable member of the team. In addition to being a home inspector, Zach is developing his leadership abilities to enable him to take on more administrative roles with Weatherstone. His hobbies include renovation projects and everything related to Detroit’s professional sports teams!

Mike

Mike Delorenzo

Inspector

Bio

After teaching for 30 years, Mike became a Realtor and an inspector. He has a BA in Education and a Master’s Degree in Leadership. Having worked alongside his father doing home building and improvements, Mike has a great deal of hands-on knowledge. He has obtained many inspection certifications through InterNACHI and is continually expanding his knowledge base. His experience in education makes him an excellent communicator with both clients and agents. Mike is passionate about biking, hunting, and spending time with his family.

Dan

Dan Mylnarek

Inspector

Bio

Dan is a Certified Professional Inspector with Weatherstone. With 5 years of experience as a Team Member, Dan is seasoned, personable, and a great communicator. He maintains a host of InterNACHI inspection certifications as well as being a member of CCPIA – Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association. Fun fact: not only is Dan an amazing artist, but he also holds a bachelor’s degree from CCS in Detroit in fine arts, which has instilled in him a keen eye for detail. Dan has a passion for custom woodworking, sculpting, and painting, and of course, performing excellent inspections.

Ron Broquet

Bio

A Licensed Builder since 1986 and an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector, he brings decades of hands-on construction knowledge and inspection expertise to every project. His background ensures clients receive thorough, informed, and reliable evaluations backed by real-world building experience. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ferris State University, combining practical building insight with strong business principles and professionalism. Beyond his work, he is an avid woodworker who appreciates craftsmanship and detail. He enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time with friends around the campfire. He is also actively involved in ministry through his church, reflecting his commitment to faith, service, and community.

Charles Garden

Inspector

Bio

Charles comes to Weatherstone with decades of hands-on experience in residential construction and operations, including serving as Director of Operations for a national flooring installation company. He holds a MI Residential Builders License, is “Lead Safe Practices (LRRP) Certified”, and maintains multiple inspection certifications, allowing him to approach every home with a trained eye for detail, safety, and long-term quality. Inspecting residential buildings has always been a passion of his, and he is excited to focus this chapter of his career on providing thorough, honest, and reliable home inspections. His faith, commitment to integrity, and dedication to family guide both his life and his work. After stepping away from corporate life, he now prioritizes both quality work and quality time with his wife, Courtney, and their son, Charlie—values that guide how he serves every client.

Raphael Martin

Bio

Raphael Martin joins the Weatherstone Team as an ASHI Gold certified professional home inspector with seven years of industry experience. He is best known for his methodical approach specializing in comprehensive residential property evaluations; additionally, he excels in thermal imaging diagnostics. Raphael prides himself on his dedication to helping buyers and sellers navigate the inspection process with clear, actionable insights. Outside of professional work, he enjoys playing basketball, bowling, reading psychology books, and acting as a self-proclaimed body language expert during family movie nights—it works great.

Dani Cox

Client Care Director & Senior Administrator

Bio

Dani is the Senior Administrator and Client Care Director for Weatherstone Property Inspections. She received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from California State University and a Physical Therapy Assistant degree from Loma Linda University. She has a strong drive and calling to help those in need; additionally, she values transparent communication and prioritizes attention to detail, her free time outside of work, and community above all else. In her free time, her main passions are caring for her plants both indoors and outdoors, building community with family and friends, baking, and creating works of art for her loved ones. Perhaps her greatest pleasure in life is spending time with her husband and daughter, who just so happens to be the cutest puppy dog ever, Canela. She looks forward to assisting those in need of a quality home inspection company to help navigate through the exciting and often stressful home-buying process.

Lori runs the back office, taking care of Invoicing, Payables, Payroll, and a host of other personnel-related items. She has run the office for several new construction building companies. As a homeschool educator and administrator, Lori knows how to get things done and stay on track while meeting pertinent deadlines. She is a detailed organizer who loves her family and appreciates and watches over the team members’ needs at Weatherstone. As a bonus, if you have any questions regarding the Detroit Lions, Lori is the one to call! In addition to the Lions, her hobbies include Bible studies, reading, and hosting marvelous dinners.

Alice

Alice Johnson

Admin Specialist

Bio

Alice has been with Weatherstone since 2017 and has been a fantastic addition to our team. Kindness, amazing attention to detail, and being highly efficient would describe her work style. Alice was our previous Senior Administrator and Client Care Director. Now that she is partially retired, she is the acting administrative specialist and assists with special projects and oversight. Her experience is well-rounded as a homeschool mom and director of one of Metro Detroit’s largest homeschool cooperatives. In addition, she has a past career as a legal secretary. Now that she and her husband Doug are retired, she is spending more time hiking, biking, and as a creative soap maker extraordinaire.

Joe Blum

Client Care Representative

Bio

Joe joins the client care team from the automotive industry, having spent 34 years in various capacities with GM at the Tech Center in Warren. Joe began his career at GM – collaborating with one of the last groups of Wood Model Maker apprentices at Fisher Body. Eventually, Joe was promoted to managerial duties, first as a Project Manager, and then later moved back to the CNC programming and milling department as a supervisor. High level problem solving and communication experience make him a great fit for our Team!

Joe has 3 children, a son and two daughters, whose career paths have taken them to New York City and Los Angeles. He enjoys visiting them as frequently as possible, as well as coaches girls’ fast-pitch softball, which he has done for several years. In his spare time Joe enjoys studying and discussing the Bible and Jewish/Christian History. Joe is excited to apply his leadership and managerial skills to the fast-paced and exciting realm of Home Inspections, eager to assist all new or seasoned homebuyers make safe and informed home purchases!

Josiah

Josiah Martelle

Environmental Technician

Bio

Josiah is our Environmental Technician who handles setting and picking up radon testing, assisting with septic evaluations, and obtaining water samples for testing. He is a senior in college, majoring in Theatre and with a Business minor. He loves learning new things, talking with clients and agents, and spending as much time outside as possible!
