Radon Yesterday and Today

By September 23, 2020No Comments

Did you know that radon was discovered over 100 years ago? In 1908, two English scientists called Robert Whytlaw-Gray and William Ramsey discovered this heavy gas, and they called it “niton.” In 1923, scientists started to call it radon.

Maintaining a Radon-Free Home

By 1986, the government began to see evidence that every home should be a radon-free zone, so it created the important Radon Gas and Indoor Air Quality Research Act. This act is one reason why scientists encourage families to test regularly for the presence of radon. Thanks to these important scientific discoveries, today you can focus on snuggling with your little ones, knowing they’re completely safe and sound.
